Andreas J. Köstenberger on Uuden testamentin eksegetiikan professori korkeakoulussa nimeltä Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Hän toimittaa aikakauskirjaa the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS) ja on ollut perustamassa organisaatiota nimeltä Biblical Foundations.
Köstenbergerilla on tohtorinarvo korkeakoulusta Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) ja Wienin taloustieteellisestä yliopistosta. Hänen julkaisuihinsa kuuluu Johanneksen evankeliumin kommentaari sarjassa the Baker Exegetical Commentary.
